TRIP ITINERARY
Sea and mountains… discover the double origins of the sicilian economy and lifestyle. Cefalù, with its authentic charme of middleage fisher village, where we will see the Cathedral, build by the Norman King Roger II to be his Mausoleum, decorated with a beautifull mosaic, so as the medioeval Laundry, witness of the magnificent control of idraulic science allready at those times.
In the afternoon, at 1400 ft a.s.l., inside the Madonie Natural Park, we will discover the medioeval country village of Castelbuono.
The good residence appartained to the noble family Ventimiglia, and their castle witness it. There is also a private chapel with marvelous stucco works and the skull of St. Anna. Finally, here you can stroll around and enjoy a taste of the local Manna products, a natural sugar that flowes out of local Frassino trees. At the end of the visit, return to the hotel.
