TRIP ITINERARY
Discovering Etna
The highest active volcano in Europe, Mount Etna, rises majestically on the entire east coast. We will reach the 6000 ft where we will see the “Crateri Silvestri”,
small volcanic cones now inactive, surrounded by ancient lava flows in an almost lunar landscape and a fantastic panorama of the Ionic Sea. Then, after a a good capuccino and an eventual walk through the souvenirs shops, you will have the possibility to reach the top area with the cable-car and jeeps (extra to pay directly on spot – € 65,00 p.p.).
Afterwards, during our journey back in direction to the hotel, we will stop at a local honey producer, for a taste of the tipical products of this amazing volcano so as honeys, wines and olive oil. At the end of the visit, return to the hotel.
